Who am I?
Ludovic Cretoni
I am a passionate physiotherapist with eight years of experience under my belt, working both in a nursing home and as a private professional. I particularly value the human contact in my practice, as it allows me to establish meaningful connections with my patients, better understand their needs and create a trusting environment where they feel comfortable sharing their physical and emotional challenges. This direct contact also allows me to tailor my treatments in a personalized way, thus promoting more effective and rewarding results.
Working with older adults in nursing homes has allowed me to understand the importance of patience, empathy and listening in the practice of physiotherapy. Every day, I am motivated by the prospect of helping my patients regain their mobility, independence and general well-being.
As a private practitioner, I have had the opportunity to encounter a wide variety of patients and conditions, which has allowed me to refine my skills and broaden my knowledge in the field of physical rehabilitation.
Why did I decide to write my guide ?
For the past year, I have been implementing beneficial activities for the residents of the retirement home. These activities have brought a breath of joy and vitality to their daily lives, offering invaluable benefits for their physical and mental well-being. With this enriching experience, I felt the need to share my knowledge and my journey through this guide . Hoping to inspire my colleagues to follow the same path, I reveal here the tips for a dynamic and empathetic approach to serving the elderly, which can also be adapted to children.
